Fourth place finish for Brewerton on home soil
10/08/2009Welsh Solheim Cup Star Becky Brewerton continued her good run of form ahead of the Solheim Cup carding rounds of 70, 67, 72, 71 to finish -8 under par and in fourth position at the S4C Wales Ladies Championship of Europe.
Becky finished ahead of strong field at Royal St.David’s Golf Club, Harlech, Wales, but four strokes behind eventual winner Karen Stupples and couple back from Korean Amy Yang and one back Australian Katherine Hull.
Cheered on by the home crowd, local favorite Brewerton ground out a very good result despite not being entirely happy with her game.
The result sees Becky move up a place to 5th on Henderson money list.
