Race For The Top Tightens Up
Ai Miyazato retained the top spot in the Rolex Rankings race for No. 1 following her tie for 15th at the CN Canadian Women's Open, but not without a bit of drama. Cristie Kerr and Suzann Pettersen each had a shot at the top spot on Sunday if they had won. However, Pettersen came up a little short, recording her sixth top-3 finish of the season, while Kerr tied for eighth.
